A Wonderful Weekday

*Sadly I have only just got round to posting this, due to being busy at University*

Tuesday 12th August 2014

Today was the day we set off for Lincolnshire because the next day was my sisters wedding!

As she lives a good few hours away from me, my dad decided to book us a hotel for a couple of nights so we had enough time to prepare for everything. My Dad drove me and my Nan to Lincolnshire and just before we booked into our hotel we stopped off at Lincoln Cathedral to have a wonder round, of course I brought my camera with me for the big day soo I may have taken a few photographs while at the Cathedral too....

After that we headed to our hotel to check in and put our bags away before heading to my sisters house to try on my bridesmaid dress... And yes, I know - It was abit risky ordering a dress online, not trying it on until the day before the wedding but it didn't matter one bit because fitted perfectly!

Wednesday 13th August 2014

So today was the big day, I got showered and dressed for breakfast then came back to change for the Wedding! We drove to my sisters house and met everyone there, then saw my sister in her dress... Wow! I'm going to be acquiring that item of clothing some time in the future haha.

Basically she looked amazing, her dress was perfect and hair was inspired by the character Elsa from the overly obsessed cartoon film, Frozen. We all then headed to the registry office where I met everyone else that was arriving for my sisters big day, who were all so nice and lovely to talk to it was fun to meet my sisters friends and other half of the now family!

Once everyone was [almost] ready, some people were inside the registry room while me, my sister, dad, made of honour/best friend and flower girl all waited to be told when to gracefully enter the room [as you do at weddings] but then suddenly we could all hear a car speeding down the driveway which were the people who were late but it was soo funny and such a typical ''late movie scene'' styled entrance it really broke the ice for the event that day.

Once everything was said, done and finalized my sister was [and is] officially married. Many many different devices were used in the photography making of that day, all you could see was everyone's phones out, digital cameras and massive DSLR's including mine of course - Which was rather funny to see but still a brilliant day. After that everyone jumped back into their cars to head to the second main event of the day [so my tummy says] which was the celebration meal at a pub near my sisters house, she hired the whole thing out for the day for everyone and it was amazing!

Food was delicious, energy buzzing round the room was exciting and I met a lot of interesting new people while I was there too. After awhile my sister and I wanted to change out of our dresses so we were comfier and for my sister, so she could actually manoeuvre herself around the building!

To keep things short so I can include more photographs the day was amazing, everything went as planned and I am so happy for my sister and her husband I am sure they will have an amazing life together [sounding abit sappy now but it's true] and they are now off on there honeymoon while I am back down South of course typing away at this fabulous blog post for all you lovely readers [hehe] but as usual, for now until next time

The Designer Outfit!

Okay, so I may [probably] have over done it abit with the photos for my first outfit post but I figured that having more photos to look at would be better than there not being enough... In my opinion of course haha!

Everything I am wearing for this outfit was an absolute BARGAIN and I seriously mean it!

The super cute, lilac and floral Crop Top was from Abercrombie & Fitch and for all you ladies out there, you know exactly how pricey their items can be!

At an outlet I went to a few weeks ago had a major sale on but with this place everything there is already reduced down to a ridiculously good price, soo of course this meant even better deals! Looking at the tag on the Crop Top it originally said it was £28 but reduced to £11 - From that I immediately said to myself 'I have to get this' and to my amazement when purchasing it at the till it had dropped down even more to only £8! *.* [Very happy shopper indeed]

Also on that same shopping spree I came across this gorgeously lightweight creme colored cardigan from Ralph Lauren and straight away I new that I'd never be able to afford it seen as it's price tag was originally £130 but yet again, bargain deal awaits me - It had dropped right down to a crazy £25! So yet again I said to myself 'I need to buy this. NOW!'

My favourite pair of denim highwaisted shorts was probably one of the luckiest chances I've ever taken on an item of clothing before, due to that fact that I purchased it from an app called Depop, this is basically a giant online flea market where anyone and everyone can sell their old clothes. While browsing I came across someone selling these shorts and I loved them so much I took a chance on the size measurements, praying that they'd fit when i receive them and bought them right away. As they are Lee Jeans they're also a rather pricey brand but as i got them second hand they were only £20 which to be honest is about the right price for a 'normal' pair of shorts I'd say anyway. These shorts are now the only pair i ever seem to be wearing recently and it's funny because I've never had a pair that actually fits
me soo soo well, thus being yet another bargain!

My shoes... Well to tell you the truth they weren't in the sale or anything but as I'm someone who doesn't ever wear flats, meaning I don't even own a pair - These super stylish tasseled pumps were from River Island for £25 and I now wear them all the time, or at least when it's actually sunny in the UK [very rarely] but they always look perfect with every outfit I wear and are super duper comfy too.

Lastly my deep sea blue/turquoise coloured bag from Newlook it's simply just so adorable, I feel that it looks very chic, elegant and always completes an outfit. I had been debating upon buying this bag for awhile as when I first noticed it, it was £12 and that may not be much for a bag nowadays but I still didn't want to buy such a small piece for that price and so i let it pass by until the January sales arrived and it caught my eye again but this time at only £5! Of course then I decided that, that was a good enough price for me.

All of these items have been purchased a good few months ago to get ready for my holiday in America which I am soo excited for as I am going away in exactly a months time and also I am starting University in just 2 weeks too! It's crazy o.o

But for now until next time,

Summer 2014's Fashion Favourites!

Recently I have been browsing the shops to find the perfect summer clothes for my holiday to America in September. Lately I have really been into wearing crop tops with highwaisted denim shorts which of course means I own at least 100 pairs of them already but needless to say I will still look at more to purchase online.

Other than that I have also had a major obsession with anything that has an Aztec or Tribal print on it. Here are a few style collections I made for my favourite summer fashion trends of 2014 so far

Aztec Obsession

Aztec Obsession

I am literally AZTEC mad! Everything I see that has the pattern on it I instantly love, I don't think I have ever been so obsessed with a trend look before until this. I now own Aztec vans, a bag, pair of leggings, skirt, jumpsuit & dress but probably loads more somewhere. I'm surprised because last year I couldn't stand anything so busy and "in your face" looking but my style has changed a lot recently, so I'll probably say that I have gone a lot more natural and supposedly abit ... Hippie? In some way but it's all positive, I'm quite pleased with my new look for the summer

Now I've stumbled across a new clothing website full of Aztec fashion too just while I was flicking through images from one of my favourite Instagramers (FashionInFlux) who happens to also be a Blogger!

Which is MISSGUIDED - http://www.missguided.co.uk/

Since I have found this website I haven't been able to keep off it! Simple because the sale prices are a bargain and I'm really loving the hippie kind of trend that's on at the moment, along with my other favourite shops/sites such as: Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Forever21 and Newlook.

My second favourite trend of the Summer would definitely be my new love for anything quite Eccentric and Bohemian looking because in the summer everyone and everything is feeling the heat which means no one has time to be overly glammed up, therefore making it nice to be relaxed and natural for a change.
While on holiday I want to feel comfortable in the clothes that I am wearing which is why I chose a pair of Aztec Harem pants, I have been looking for the right pair for so long but sadly still haven't found them yet although I am sure that as soon as I do I'll be blabbing on about them in another blog post at some point!
Some people naturally gain the beach wave looking hair but for others [me] of course cannot seem to achieve that look, which is why I optioned for the product quite a few bloggers I have seen raving about recently and that's the Bumble & Bumble Surf styling spray, giving you that tousled beach hair feel while also containing extracts of sea kelp to add shine!

Even though it's summer I still can't resist wearing my favourite pair of Levi's high-waisted shorts, purely because they are so comfy and go with everything I own!
I find that denim often completes an outfit, mixing a pair of shorts with a cute crop top gives a casual look yet still cool all because of the different fabrics put together - Especially if you were wearing the cropped shirt with those black ripped jeans, [above] you could pass off a slight edgy Rock-Chick type of style if you wanted too.

On holiday you'll always need a good pair of sunglasses and if you're someone like me who's eyes are extra sensitive to the light (for some reason) then you'll definitely need a pair. While creating my fashion collage I came across these really funky pair of sunglasses from BrownsFashion.com - Sadly they are verrryyy pricey but I'm sure there's a similar pair of them online somewhere for a much more affordable price.
None of the less, I liked the round frame of the glasses and they also have the cat-eye tortoiseshell rim too!

Floral Bliss
As the saying goes "Last but not least" here is my floral fashion collage of Summer 2014!

Floral Bliss

Recently I purchased a pair of lightweight viscose (kinda see through) black shorts, that had cute little lilac flowers on them! They were from Forever 21, sadly I couldn't find them on Ployvore to add to my mini collection [above] but still the floral theme is there. To be honest the shorts could probably pass off as Pajamas as they're soo comfortable and kinda look like PJ shorts too! Despite that I know they will be perfect for my holiday in the sun because the lighter the fabric the less hot I shall hopefully be.
I also really like floral hair garlands in the summer which makes the outfit just that little bit more girlier, great for a picnic I would say and of course for festivals too as they're super cute and easy to style with any outfit.

I've purchased a few items for my holiday online from MISSGUIDED and ROMWE so as soon as they arrive I will be making an outfit post on them!

I highly doubt this will be my last fashion favourites collection of this years Summer but for now until next time,
